ABOUT THE COURSE 

The University of Worcester offers a unique, first-of-its-kind in the UK, course on Cricket coaching and Management. The course is supported by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Worcestershire County Cricket Club and County Cricket Boards including Gloucestershire & Worcestershire, providing opportunities for work experience and placements.  

A 4- year integrated Master’s degree is offered which combines both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Alternatively, the students can exit the course at the end of 3rd year with a BSc in Cricket coaching and Management degree. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

  • UCAS Tariff points of 104 including English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above and a minimum of 2As. 
  • Applicants whose first language is not English has to provide proof of achievement of 6.0 point in their IELTS 
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring services) check is mandatory. 

COURSE CONTENT 

A few of the aspects the students study in this course are 

  • Scientific principles of cricket coaching 
  • Applied performance analysis in cricket 
  • Sport Entrepreneurship 

And of-course work placement in their 3rd and 4th years with 30 credits each.
